Useful informationThe Summer School in Leadership and Governance for Sustainable Tourism (5-9 October) is back for its 4th edition, hosted by Icelandic Tourist Board, it will take place at the Lonely Planet´s no 1 destination in Europe 2015: Akureyri, Iceland. Outstanding speakers will be focusing on: Sustainable Tourism Policies, Criteria, Certifications, Best Practices, Project Management, Destination Management, Branding Destination, Capacity building, Public Private Partnership, tourism funding. CALL FOR ABSTRACTSWe invite you to submit an abstract (max. 500 words) for the upcoming International Summer School on Leadership and Governance for Sustainable Tourism in Akureyri, Iceland, 5-9 October 2016. The selected papers will form a Special Issue to support the United Nations (UN) decision to adopt 2017 as the International Year of Sustainable Tourism for Development. Selected papers will be published in a special issue by the European Travel Commission in partnership with Fest and University of Iceland. Abstract submission deadline is extended to July 20th, 2016.
