We’ve been learning more and more about the so-called Millennial traveller for the past few years and yet this year it became official; Millennials are now the biggest travel market. Point. With that in mind, we have to change. If we haven’t started to do so already, we’re firmly in line for being disrupted, that is to say, our indifference to change, makes us a victim of change.
The Millennial traveller and certainly Gen Z, soon to follow, are demanding a completely different experiences when they travel. In fact for them, the world is completely flat (true fact!), social influence, powerful content and digitally enabled experiences form their ideas and ultimately their decisions. The biggest market here today choose for themselves who they want to follow and what inspires them.
