SUMMARY:ETC Webinar - Measuring What Matters: Sustainable Tourism Indicators for Decision-Making
DESCRIPTION:This webinar will present findings from the project “Measuring What Matters: Sustainable Tourism Indicators for Decision-Making”\, conducted by the Global Destination Sustainability Movement on behalf of the European Travel Commission. The study supports National Tourism Organisations (NTOs) in strengthening sustainable destination management through the use of relevant indicators and concrete actions. \nConsultants from the GDS-Movement will share insights from the research\, including a comparison of ETC’s Sustainable Tourism Indicator set with leading global frameworks\, analysis of recent trends and external pressures on the data\, and importantly\, recommendations to improve indicator usability at the national level. Participants will gain practical knowledge to guide evidence-based decision-making in sustainable tourism. \nThe webinar will last approximately 60 minutes\, including a Q&A session at the end. \nKindly note that this is webinar is for ETC Members only!
