DESCRIPTION:INVITATION FROM THE INTERGROUP FOR EUROPEAN TOURISM DEVELOPMENT\, THE TRAN COMMITTEE’S TOURISM TASK FORCE AND ETC\nUSEFUL INFORMATION\nIn the light of the recent approval with big majority of the two VISA opinions by the TRAN Committee\, and the first exchange of views and the vote scheduled in the following weeks in the LIBE committee\, the event will focus on the main findings of the study “Improving Visa Regimes of European Nations to Grow Tourism”\, commissioned by the European Travel Commission. \nThe study quantifies the impact of eased regulations on travel from major source markets\, and models the incremental gains that would flow from improved visa regimes for ‘Destination Europe’ for 10 priority source markets. \nThe round table discussion will gather stakeholders from the European Parliament and European tourism associations. \nRegistration for the event is compulsory. Please register your attendance here.
