The European Travel Commission released a series of animated videos that address some of the most important challenges and barriers that Chinese tourists, primarily Free Independent Travelers (FITs), face when planning a trip to Europe. The pan-European videos provide in-depth educational content in an entertaining way.
The first video about visa policy explains the difference between Schengen and non-Schengen countries and touches the basic conditions Chinese travellers must follow when applying for visa to European countries.
The second video talks about monetary issues such as exchange rates, the Euro-zone and tax-free shopping.
The third video describes the means of public transport Chinese tourists can use when travelling between European countries.
The fourth video explains to Chinese travellers the different options of staying connected to the internet in Europe and thus always having the possibility to share their travel experiences.
The fifth video explores Europe’s water and coastal destinations.
The sixth videos talks about the pros of renting a car during one’s travels in Europe and provides Chinese travellers with tips and requirements for booking a car rental.
The seventh video provides Chinese travellers with European dining basics, as there are few more pleasurable and fulfilling ways to become well acquainted with Europe than through its food.
The eight and final video in the series arms Chinese viewers with tips on how to communicate in Europe and shows them it’s not too difficult to communicate what you want, even when you are not fully fluent.
