Co-branding Thematic Promotional Campaigns

Call for Proposals

The European Travel Commission (ETC) is seeking to co-invest into the most creative thematic transnational promotional campaigns conceived, developed and executed by a consortium of partners to raise third market’s awareness of Europe as a travel destination. This call for proposals is launched in the framework of an ad-hoc grant of the European Commission (EC) to the European Travel Commission (ETC) with the aims to support the promotion of thematic trans-European tourism products in third countries.

The call for proposals contributes to the implementation of the ETC’s marketing strategy “Horizon 2022” which aims to build a distinctive image of Europe as a travel destination in long-haul markets, maintain its market share and better disperse travelers flows (in terms of geography and seasons) while taking into account residents’ aspirations for sustainable tourism growth.

In the framework of the present call, campaign proposals shall produce an added value to the ETC and the EC’s efforts in the joint promotion of Destination Europe.


Total available budget: 1,100,000 EUR

Deadline for applications: 30 September 2019 (23:59 .m. CEST)

Estimated starting date: November 2019

Duration: 12 months
