USEFUL INFORMATION

The meeting will take place on 19th November 2014 in Hotel Indigo, Barcelona (Sala Gaudí).The participation in the eMN Annual Meeting is free for unlimited number of participants from each ETC member NTO. ETC Members can also take advantage of a 40% discount to attend the Digital Tourism Innovation Campus 2014, taking place during the following two days.

PROGRAMME12:30 – LUNCH AND MINGLING OF ETC MEMBERS: All eMN members are invited to have a casual lunch and network between 12:30 and 14:00 with other eMN members.14:00 DIGITAL CONTENT FOR NTOs : Tomas Vanderplaetse will lead a session focusing on trends and opportunities for digital content which will lead into a discussion about how different NTOs in the room are working with content, what challenges they are facing and what experiences they had with content campaigns. Then the eMN members will be invited to share ideas and thoughts for 2015 content campaigns that ETC members can put together with the ETC Executive Unit.15:00 VISITEUROPE.COM AND ETC’S CONTENT STRATEGY FOR 2015: After the presentation of the new portal, 2015 activities will be suggested and discussed in order to establish the needs and expectations of the eMN.17:00 – END OF THE MEETING19:30 – INFORMAL DINNER (at the expense of the delegates)

TOMAS VANDERPLAETSE

Tomas is working freelance as a digital tourism creative for destinations and travel organizations. He is combining a broad strategic knowledge of destination marketing with creative hands-on experience in content marketing & social media marketing.

He is looking back at 10 great years of working for Tourism Flanders where he has been in charge of online marketing activities. Tomas determined and rolled out the mobile strategy, the content strategy and conversation management approach. He managed different local and global awareness campaigns from strategy to execution.
