The European Travel Commission is pleased to invite you to this webinar presenting its latest study, “Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Tourism – Assessing and Supporting NTO’s Research & Marketing Operations”which will discuss AI adoption among European National Tourism Organisations (NTOs) and how it can support destinations management and strategic decisions-making. Along with the study, three tailored roadmaps were published to help NTOs turn assessment into action by offering targeted recommendations for different levels of AI maturity.

Lisa Lanå Bolin is an analyst at Kairos Future, focusing on data and survey analysis. She holds a B.A. in Media and Communication Studies and Film Studies, with additional studies in Political Science, Audience and Market Analysis, and History of Ideas at Stockholm University and Södertörn University. She previously worked in the media sector on broadcast coordination, archiving, metadata management, and market research.
Olivier Rostang is a consultant at Kairos Future with a background in computational environmental sciences. He holds a B.Sc. in Earth and Environmental Sciences (Albert-Ludwigs University, Freiburg) and a double M.Sc. in Environmental Sciences and Sustainable Development (SLU and Uppsala University). He works extensively on AI-related projects and regularly gives lectures and leads workshops on AI developments.
Menno van IJssel is currently project manager in the research department of the European Travel Commission (ETC), a non-profit organisation representing the national tourism organisations of Europe. In that capacity, Menno works on various research projects identifying key trends and opportunities for European tourism. He contributes to ETC’s key research publications and webinars, ranging from the monitoring of tourism flows, to tracking tourist sentiment and behaviour, to analysing sustainability indicators. His passion lies in understanding how people travel, where they go, and for what reasons. Prior to his work at ETC, Menno obtained a bachelor’s and master’s degree in the field of Tourism in his home country the Netherlands.
