UN TOURISM – ETC DATALAB WEBINAR “DATA-DRIVEN CLIMATE ACTION: HOW NTOS TURN INSIGHTS INTO STRATEGY”

This webinar explores the role of data in the development and implementation of climate action plans by National Tourism Organisations (NTOs). The session will examine what types of data NTOs use to design their climate strategies, how they source and manage this data, and how data informs decision-making and target setting. Lastly, it will investigate whether climate action plans have led to the introduction of new KPIs or data collection practices, and what lessons can be shared with peers across Europe.

Representatives from the Netherlands Board of Tourism & Conventions, Slovenian Tourist Board and Embratur (Brazilian International Tourism Promotion Agency) will present their insights and innovative approaches to the use of data in climate action plans.

Kindly note that participation in this webinar is reserved to ETC and UN Tourism members only.
