Brussels, 22 March 2016. On behalf of its members and the European tourism community, the European Travel Commission (ETC) conveys its heartfelt condolences to the families and friends of the victims and reiterates its full support, particularly to the people and the Authorities of Belgium and our host city Brussels.
“We are all in shock and grieving for the victims and their families, but should remain united and firm in the face of blind hate by safeguarding the hospitality that makes Belgium a great country. This is also what Europe should stand for”, said Peter De Wilde, President, ETC.
“Brussels, like other cities hit by such attacks, will stand strong and united against terror”, added Eduardo Santander, CEO, ETC
